HRH Princess Ghida delivers keynote speeches at US cancer conference

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation board of trustees, on Wednesday delivered two keynote speeches at the “Eliminating Cancer through Global Partnerships” conference organised by the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston, the US, the Jordan News Agency Petra, reported.
In her speech, Princess Ghida stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) and MD Anderson Cancer Centre, the world’s leading cancer centre.
HRH Princess Ghida said that KHCC has been able to achieve a Jordanian and Arab “success story” by providing the best possible treatments to its patients in accordance with international standards.
Hikmat Abdel-Razeq, KHCC deputy director general, attended the conference on behalf of the centre.
