CDD personnel retrieve body of drowned citizen in Amman

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) divers on Friday pulled out the body of the young man who drowned on Thursday in Khirbet Al Souq area, in Amman.
After continued search along the water stream resulted from the torrential rain reaching Zizia area, CDD personnel found the deceased and transferred his body to Al Bashir Public Hospital.
The CDD’s media office said that rescue personnel used earth barriers to reduce the surface run-off and facilitate the divers’ mission, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
