CCSM holds cultural event for young people in Naour

AMMAN — The Catholic Centre for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan on Friday held a cultural event, in cooperation with the Washington-based Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF), according to a statement from the centre. The event, held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Square in Naour, saw the participation of youth associations, as well as university students of Arab origin who study in American, Canadian and European universities.

Father Rifat Bader, parish priest and director of CCSM, said: “We seek, in every Jordanian city and village, to convey a genuine image of the Jordan we live in, where a familial atmosphere prevails”. He also highlighted CCSM’s work to instil values of respect for others, justice, moderation and harmony among people.
