Campaign to support return to Palestine gathers over 1m signatures

AMMAN — The “Return is My Right, My Decision” Campaign, launched by the London-based Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), in cooperation with the Palestine Parliamentary Committee, has achieved its goal to collect more than one million signatures, MP Mohammad Al Thahrawi, head of the committee, said on Thursday. He added that the campaign was launched in Jordan and included 200 countries against the so-called “deal of the century”.

The campaign promotes the right of return, which is guaranteed by international law, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The PRC, which has been given special consultative status at the UN since 2015, and the committee, are preparing to refer the signatures to the UN to operationalise the resolutions related to Palestinian refugees’ right to return, notably resolution 194.
