Cabinet approves memo signed with democratic institute

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Monday approved a memorandum of understanding signed between the government and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI).
The Council of Ministers authorised Basel Tarawneh, government coordinator for human rights, to sign the memo. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the NDI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organisation working to support and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide.
