Border Guards foil infiltration attempt

AMMAN — Border Guards on Thursday foiled an infiltration attempt by two persons who tried to cross into Jordan from Syria, Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army Spokesperson Col. Mamdoh Al Ameri stated.
Ameri said one of the infiltrators was injured during the attempt before they headed back to Syria.
Moreover, Border Guards received 45 Syrian refugees during the past 48 hours, provided them with humanitarian assistance and transferred them to official camps.
