Bani Mustafa attends innovation event at Emirati-Jordanian refugee camp

AMMAN — Jordan has played a humanitarian, diplomatic and political role in the region and beyond, and has hosted refugees for decades, Social Development Minister Wafa Bani Mustafa said on Wednesday.

The minister’s remarks came during a national innovation event that was organised by the UAE embassy, in cooperation with the ministry, at the Emirati-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees, in the presence of Emirati Ambassador Sheikh Khalifa Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

She added that Jordan is keen on preparing a generation of innovators who can contribute to growth and prosperity for mankind. For his part, Sheikh Khalifa stressed the embassy’s keenness to organise the event to spread the culture of innovation.
