Bani Mustafa attends Arab League Women's Committee’s virtual meeting

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa on Tuesday reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to providing support for Arab efforts aimed at empowering Arab women.
Addressing the 42nd session of the Arab Women's Committee of the Arab League, Bani Mustafa said that Jordan places a “strong emphasis” on improving the status of women and achieving gender equality across all policies and programmes, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The minister's remarks, during the Cairo-based virtual event, come ahead of the Kingdom’s participation in the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67), set to take place in March.
