Authorities seal 8 illegal wells in Ramtha, Wadi Al Seer

AMMAN — The Jordanian Water Ministry/Water Authority of Jordan, has detected eight illegal wells in Ramtha and Wadi Al Seer during a joint campaign with the Public Security Directorate (PSD). Ministry personnel sealed the wells and removed large pumps that withdrew large quantities of non-potable water from the Wadi Al Seer spring that was sold to illegal tankers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday. The authority commended citizens' efforts for reporting the incidents.
