ASEZA signs 2 agreements to boost tourism sector

AMMAN — The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), in cooperation with the Royal Jordanian (RJ) and Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), has organised a tour for inbound tourism offices with the aim of promoting tourist sites in Aqaba, Wadi Rum and Wadi Araba.
The three-day tour is part of the 2022/2023 marketing campaign and attracted some 60 representatives of inbound tourism offices, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
ASEZA Chief Commissioner Nayef Bakhit said that the tour aims to increase the number of tourists and increasing the durations of their stay.
Meanwhile, ASEZA on Sunday signed two tourist agreements, one with RJ and another with the Jordan Association of Inbound Tourism with the aim of enhancing economic capacity of the Kingdom to attract economic activities and investment, in addition to enhancing tourist cooperation.
