Army radio granted broadcasting licence

AMMAN — Jordan Media Commission Director General Amjad Qadi and Morale Guidance Department Director Col. Abdullah Huneiti, on behalf of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Thursday signed an agreement to grant a radio broadcasting licence to Jeish FM. Qadi said JAF’s media outlets succeeded in meeting people’s needs, and adding the new radio station is a positive step forward, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Jeish FM can be received in Amman and Zarqa on 107.9 MHz, and in Mafraq on 95.1 MHz, while other areas will be covered later. Listeners can also tune in at www.jeishfm.jo.
