PSD to launch satellite TV channel

AMMAN — The Jordan Media Commission on Thursday granted a satellite broadcasting licence to the Public Security Department’s (PSD) Jordan Amen channel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The commission’s director, Amjad Qadi, commended the PSD’s move to visual media, especially after the department’s success in Amen FM. Khader Al Khatab, the head of the PSD’s media directorate, said the channel will be a tool to raise awareness and protect society.
