Army chief attends drill in central military zone

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday attended a tactical military exercise titled “Moonlight” carried out by Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II First Royal Mechanised Battalion of the central military zone, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Huneiti was briefed on the drill that simulates expected scenarios.
The orchestrated exercise featured the Leclerc (Zayed) tanks, backed by snipers and a number of weapons. Commending the distinguished professionalism and competence of army personnel, he conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
