Arab Potash Company donates JD20m to Himmat Watan fund

AMMAN — The Arab Potash Company (APC) has donated an additional JD20 million to the “Himmat Watan” fund, bringing the company’s total donations to the fund, the Ministry of Health’s account and other initiatives to JD25 million, APC Chairman Jamal Sarayrah announced on Tuesday.
In a statement, Sarayrah affirmed the APC’s support for all government efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 and reduce its damaging effects on the economic, health and social sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that this move “embodies the company’s national duty and its social responsibility”, especially in times of crisis, expressing the company's appreciation for the “noble roles” played by all national institutions to protect the Kingdom during this crisis.
