AMMAN — The Arab Potash Company’s (APC) board of directors on Sunday approved transferring JD20 million as an advance payment for mining and tax fees.
APC Chairman Jamal Sarayreh said that the board agreed to transfer the payment before its due date because of the economic circumstances facing the Kingdom, stressing the need for national industries to support the government in addressing these conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
APC’s board has recently reappointed Sarayreh, who served as chairman between 2012 and February 25, 2018, as representative of the Finance Ministry.
