Amman mayor, French delegation discuss BRT

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji and a delegation from the French Agency for Development (AFD) on Saturday discussed the Bus Rapid Transit project.

During the meeting, held at the conclusion of the delegation’s three-day visit to the country, the two sides also addressed ways to activate the loan for the project.

The delegates held talks with concerned officials at the Greater Amman Municipality to ensure the financial capability of the municipality and the economic feasibility of the project.

The French delegation is scheduled to present its report to the AFD board next week.
