GAM, French officials discuss progress in Bus Rapid Transit project

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and the French Development Agency (AFD) on Wednesday discussed means to enhance cooperation in implementing the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
During a meeting between Amman City Director Omar Lozi and an AFD delegation, both sides went over additional technical support that the French government will extend to complete the BRT project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
They also expressed satisfaction over the level of cooperation and coordination that led to the completion of previous phases of the scheme and floating tenders for the new phases, noting that the process is progressing according to schedule.
