Al Bashir Hospital doctor tests positive for COVID-19

AMMAN — A doctor working in one of Al Bashir Hospital’s surgery departments tested positive for COVID-19, the hospital’s director general Mahmoud Zureikat announced on Thursday.
Zureikat said that the surgery department was isolated, noting that the doctor who tested positive, has contracted the virus from a coronavirus patient, and has not shown any symptoms and moved to the Dead Sea quarantine area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The epidemiological investigation teams are collecting samples from the contacts of the physician, he added.
