A quarter of the proceeds will be going to orphaned university students, according to a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. In the statement, club president Dalal Otoum said the club plays a significant role in helping university students, as she outlined the various humanitarian, philanthropic and cultural activities held by the club.
The event also honoured former minister of social development Inaam Al Mufti, along with a number of university graduates supported by the club.
The club is a non-profit organisation focused on helping less fortunate families and supporting orphaned students with their college education.
