AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Monday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said the convoy comprises five trucks, four laden with 4,000 blankets and the fifth carrying medical supplies donated by the United Palestine Appeal.
The humanitarian aid will be handed over to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza, which in turn will distribute it to families in need, Mifleh added.
