AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) has sent 284 aid trucks to Gaza since the outbreak of the crisis in July, JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said Monday.
These convoys were delivered to UNRWA and the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza, which distributed their contents to the health sector and beneficiaries in the strip, Mifleh added.
He noted that JHCO has received 27 planes laden with relief and humanitarian aid from several countries.
Also on Monday, JHCO received two plane loads of aid donated by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.
