ACI president discusses cooperation with Japanese ambassador

AMMAN — The President and board members of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) on Saturday discussed with Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Hidenao Yanagi means to enhance economic and trade relations, especially between both countries' private sectors.
ACI President Ziad Humsi highlighted the importance of developing the Kingdom's economic ties with Japan, especially since both countries have "good" political relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He expressed the sector's keenness on benefiting from the Japanese expertise in the small- and medium-sized enterprises and international marketing. For his part, Yanagi voiced Japan's keenness to enhance economic cooperation with Jordan in all fields.
