‘87 suspected drug dealers arrested in last two weeks of April’

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) has arrested 87 suspected drug dealers allegedly involved in 70 drug-related cases in the last two weeks of April, the Public Security Department (PSD) said in a statement released Monday.
Substances confiscated by AND agents in this period include half a kilogramme of heroine, 9kg of cannabis, 12,000 narcotic pills and 8kg of synthetic cannabis, also known as joker, according to the PSD statement.
