8 companies represent Jordan at international exhibition in Kiev

AMMAN — A total of eight Jordanian companies from the food industries sector participated in the Kiev International Exhibition 2019, held in Ukraine with the participation of 21 countries.
Head of the Exhibitions Committee at the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) Ahmed Khudari said that the Jordanian wing at the exhibition, organised by the ACI in cooperation with the Association for SME Development, witnessed a high turnout by traders and other visitors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
“Several Jordanian companies have signed contracts for export to Ukraine, which will improve the bilateral trade balance, currently tilting to the Ukrainian side,” Khudari said. Last year, the Kingdom imported $172 million worth of goods, compared with $8 million in exports, Petra reported.
