591 rape cases reported over four years — report

AMMAN — The number of rape incidents in Jordan has been declining, with 591 cases reported over four years, according to the Criminal Information Department’s annual report for 2015.
The Sisterhood Is Global Institute, in a statement released on Monday, detailed the figures, as 174 rape crimes committed in 2012, 155 in 2013, 140 in 2014 and 122 in 2015, showing a notable decrease.
