50,000 people attend hospitals during eid — Health Ministry

AMMAN — Health Ministry Spokesperson Hatem Azrui on Wednesday said that around 50,000 people attended hospitals during the four-day Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He said that 1,200 patients received dialysis treatment, while around 200 major and minor surgical operations were performed. About 4,000 women consulted gynecology departments, including for natural and caesarean deliveries, he said, noting that hospital admissions amounted to around 3,000 cases.
The spokesperson added that Al Bashir Hospital received the most patients (around 7,000 patients), followed by Zarqa Public Hospital (around 5,000 patients) and Prince Feisal Hospital (around 4,000 patients).
