324,000 social security payments received through e-system in H1

AMMAN — Social Security Corporation’s (SSC) Media Director Musa Sbeihi said that the SSC received 324,000 social security subscriptions payments of individuals and corporations during the first half of this year through the “efawateer.com” system.

He said that the total value of these payments amounted to JD717 million, constituting 81 per cent of the SSC’s total insurance revenues during the first six months of 2018, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The SSC received 5,195 optional subscription applications submitted by Jordanians inside and outside the Kingdom via the SSC’s website and via the SSC’s application on smart phones during the same period, he noted.

Social security subscriptions payment to both the voluntary individuals or to the corporations subject to the SSC is solely done through the electronic payment method via “efawateer.com” system since the beginning of this year, as well as the optional subscription applications service available via the SSC’s website and has also been made available via the SSC’s application on smart phones.
