‘2,300 cybercrimes recorded in 2015’

AMMAN — Some 2,300 cybercrimes were registered in 2015, most of which involved blackmail, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday. The Criminal Investigation Department cybercrime combating unit dealt with only 12 cybercrimes when it was established in 2008, according to Petra.
