19-year-old dies in Irbid house fire

AMMAN — A 19-year-old woman died in a house fire on Tuesday at Azmi Mufti Refugee Camp in south Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The fire was caused by a gas leak, according to Petra, which quoted a source as saying that the woman’s body was engulfed in flames when she lit the oven at her kitchen.
She was taken to hospital but died upon arrival due to the severity of her burns, Petra reported.
