AMMAN — The U-16 girls football team plays India on Thursday in their fourth and final match in Group B Asian qualifiers currently under way in Bangladesh for the 2015 Asian Football Confederation U-16 Women’s Championship. Jordan failed to repeat its qualification to championship and is now out of the competition following an unexpected 1-0 defeat to Bangladesh in the opening match. The squad had jumped back into the competition after a solid 8-1 win over the UAE, however, their 6-1 loss to Iran ended their hopes of capturing the sole qualifying slot from the group.
