Jordan remains 68th in FIFA rankings

AMMAN — Jordan remained 68th in the latest FIFA rankings issued on Thursday as the team steadily makes its way to possible World Cup qualification.
In February, the team shot up 17 spots to 70th after the Asian Cup and has steadily been improving after it dropped to 87th in 2023.
The latest ranking came after Jordan beat Palestine 3-1 and held Kuwait 1-1 in Group B/Round 3 match in 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Their upcoming matches are on October 10 and 15 matches against South Korea and Oman.
Argentina, France, Spain, England, Brazil, Belgium, The Netherlands, Portugal, Columbia and Italy make up the top ten.
Top 10 Arab teams are: Morocco is 14, Egypt 31, Tunisia 36, Algeria 41, Qatar 44, Iraq 55, Saudi Arabia 56, Jordan 68, UAE 69, Bahrain 76.
Top 10 Asian teams are: Japan 16, Iran 19, Australia 25, Korea 23, Iraq 55, Saudi Arabia 56, Uzbekistan 60, Jordan 68, UAE 69, Bahrain 76.
