Jazira, Faisali both win to boost lead in AFC Cup standings

AMMAN — Jazira beat Oman’s Suweiq 3-2 in Group A, while Faisali crushed Oman’s Dhofar 2-0 in Group C on Monday in Stage 3 of the 15th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup.
The wins solidified the Jordanian teams top standings in their respective groups with seven points each. The return legs will be played on March 13.
