All to drive for as Jordan Rally Championship reaches round four

AMMAN — We can expect another competitive day of driving on Friday when the fourth round of the Jordan Rally Championship will be held in the northern stages, according to the Jordan Motorsport Media Service.
Three drivers are separated by just four points in the standings, with round three winner Khaled Juma heading the field in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10, with Imad Juma, who leads the co-driver series, alongside him reading the notes.
Salameh Al Gammaz is currently second following three consistent drives in an Evo 5, while Maruf Abu Samra, who is joint second in the series, is not in action this weekend.
Oman’s Abdullah Al Rawahi returns in his Subaru Impreza and will hoping to secure his first points since finishing second in the opening round, while Ihab Al Shurafa will be looking to keep his slender championship hopes alive with victory on Friday.
A total of nine drivers have entered, with the action set to start from the Royal Automobile Club at 9:30am, before drivers tackle 61.7km of timed special stages in the challenging northern forests.
