Zakat Fund approves 13th batch of aid for indebted women

AMMAN — The Zakat Fund Board of Directors on Monday approved the 13th batch of Sahm Al Gharimat (funds allocated for indebted women) worth JD68,545, where the amount will be used to pay the debts of 92 women.
During a meeting chaired by Chairman of the Zakat Fund Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh, the members of the board approved the renovation of nine houses, at a total cost of JD4,000 for each residential unit, in addition to approving a number of renovation projects to support needy families, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
