Youth minister attends webinar on coronavirus challenges

AMMAN — Youth Minister Fares Braizat on Friday attended a webinar titled "Leadership, challenges and opportunities in the post Covid-19 world". The event, attended by international decision makers, was jointly organised by RECON Colombia and the Eisenhower Fellowships with the support of the Swedish embassy and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Braizat acquainted the attendees with Jordan's pandemic situation, highlighting the Kingdom’s measures in minimising the impact of COVID-19.
Braizat also said that the Ministry of Youth's launched the second national forum for youth entrepreneurs with a focus on challenges facing the tourism, agriculture, food and health sectors.
Braizat also praised the initiatives of tech companies regarding online education, namely "mawdoo3" that created the "Darsak" platform, according to a Youth Ministry statement.
