World Bank, JSF to launch 'Jordan Economic Monitor Spring 2020’ report

AMMAN — The World Bank and the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) will hold a joint event to launch “The Jordan Economic Monitor Spring 2020: Weathering the Storm” report on Tuesday, according to a JSF statement.
The report is a bi-annual publication of the World Bank that provides an update on key economic developments and policies and assesses their implications on Jordan’s outlook and development challenges, read the statement.
The event will host Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wissam Rabadi, Regional Director of the Mashreq Department at the World Bank Group Saroj Kumar Jha and CEO of Jordan Strategy Forum Ibrahim Saif, in addition to Senior Country Economist for World Bank Jordan Saadia Refaqat, Chief Economist of Arab Bank Radwan Shaban and Assistant Executive Director at the Research Department of the Central Bank of Jordan Rajeh Alkhdour.
Discussions will be moderated by Samar Obaid, Partner, MENA Markets and Government and Public Sector Leader – Strategy & Transactions at Ernst & Young. The event will be broadcast live on Jordan Strategy Forum YouTube channel and on the Facebook pages of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and Jordan Strategy Forum, according to the statement.
