Woman succumbs to injuries, pilgrim bus accident toll rises to 5

AMMAN — A Jordanian woman died from her injuries after an accident in which a Jordanian umrah (lesser Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca) bus overturned in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths to five, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sabah Al Rafie told Petra that the other four bodies were transferred, pointing out that two of the injured were returned to Jordan. Health Ministry Secretary General Ahmad Qteitat said that since Saturday morning, the ministry has been following-up with the health authorities in Saudi Arabia regarding the injured Jordanians.
