Winter training camp on agri-food systems to kick off Saturday at Dead Sea

AMMAN — The Palestinian Women’s Association (Asala) on Monday announced the implementation of a winter training camp at the Dead Sea area.
The event, which is part of the EU-funded “Social Innovation in the Agri-Food Sector for Women's Empowerment in the Mediterranean Sea Basin”, will be launched on Saturday until March 23 and will witness the participation of 50 women from Palestine, Tunisia, Italy and Spain, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The participants will receive training in communication and life skills.
The activities will also include field visits to the Jordan Valley in the effort to acquaint the participants with the Kingdom’s agri-food sector.
