Winners in commerce chamber polls hold first meetings

AMMAN — In its first meeting on Monday, the new board of the Amman Chamber of Commerce chose Khalil Haj Tawfiq as chairman for the next four years. Nabil Khatib was chosen as first vice chairman, Tareq Tabbaa as second, Bahjat Hamdan as secretary, Sultan Allan as deputy secretary, Khattab Banna as treasurer, Maher Yousef as deputy treasurer and Alaa-Addeen Diranieh, in addition to Jamal Badran, as members.
The Zarqa Chamber of Commerce board of directors also on Monday unanimously elected Hussein Shuraim as chairman, Jihad Marayrah as first vice chairman and Emad Abu Bandourah as second vice chairman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The elections took part on Saturday across the Kingdom. In Salt, Saad Bazbaz was elected president, and Ahmad Kharabsheh his deputy, while Ahmad Abu Hazim was chosen as secretary, Issam Ghaboun treasurer and Husam Shalabi deputy treasurer.
