Water supply to be suspended in several Amman neighbourhoods

AMMAN — The Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna) on Sunday announced that the Zay Station will suspend operation for 24 hours as of Monday morning for scheduled maintenance. The company, in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that some Amman neighbourhoods will be temporarily affected by the suspension of pumping.
The station will resume water pumping once maintenance is completed.
The capital's eastern Marj Al Hamam, southern Umm Al Summaq, Deir Ghbar, Bayader and Jandawil areas will be affected, according to Miyahuna.
