Warm air mass from Arabian Peninsula to raise Kingdom’s temperatures

AMMAN — Director General of the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) Raed Khattab stated that the Kingdom will be affected by a warm air mass from the Arabian Peninsula in the coming days, raising temperatures by approximately 6 to 7 degrees Celsius above normal, according to the JMD analysis. He explained that Amman will experience high temperatures ranging between 19-20 degrees Celsius from  January 18 to 22, while Aqaba is expected to reach temperatures between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius. Khattab added that temperatures will drop again on January 23, returning to cooler conditions.
