Walid Masri sworn in as transport minister

AMMAN — Walid Masri was sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday as minister of transport, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday upon the recommendations of the prime minister to approve the resignation of former transport minister Jamil Mujahid as of January 7, 2018. Also on Wednesday, Areej Hawamdeh was also sworn in before His Majesty as the Kingdom’s ambassador extraordinary to Spain.
Prime Minister Hani Mulki, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani attended the ceremonies.
