AMMAN — The Water Ministry/Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) on Tuesday announced that it is implementing “ambititous” investment initiatives to develop land close to dams throughout the Kingdom by use of investment incentives.

WAJ called upon interested investors to benefit from the land surrounding the King Talal Dam in Jerash to hold tourist investment projects, according to a ministry statement.

The ministry, represented by WAJ, has recently announced available investments with the goal of developing the areas surrounding the King Talal Dam with an area of 100 dunums. WAJ has expressed commitment to preserving dam water and protecting all natural assets to realise the aspirations and goals of the water sector.
