USAID sports programme to promote gender rights in Jordan

AMMAN — USAID Takamol Gender Programme organised the first Sports and Gender round table in Jordan, bringing together key players to discuss challenges and best practices, according to a USAID statement released Tuesday.
USAID Takamol is working with partners from various government and civil institutions to advance gender equity rights, according to the statement, which added that the round table will serve as the first step, and the key recommendations drawn from it will inform future activities focused on gender and sports in Jordan.
