Umniah granted 4G licence

AMMAN — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) board of commissioners on Sunday granted Umniah the licence to launch Fourth Generation services in Jordan in exchange for JD71 million to obtain the range of the service's frequencies.
The decision makes Umniah the third telecom operator to offer the 4G service after Zain Jordan and Orange Jordan.
