UJ announces 77 scholarships for master’s, doctoral degrees abroad

AMMAN — The University of Jordan (UJ) on Monday announced “the largest scholarship programme witnessed by the Jordanian academic community in more than 10 years”, opening 77 vacancies to send outstanding bachelor's degree holders abroad to obtain master's and doctoral degrees in various disciplines.
The university has announced previously the availability of 40 vacancies in various disciplines, mainly in engineering, ICT, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity under an agreement between UJ and the University of Sydney, Australia.
UJ President Nathir Obeidat, in a statement, said the council of deans has developed a dispatch plan based on the university’s strategic plan and the requirements of rare specialisations, aiming to support outstanding students.
