UAE-supported project launched to boost Jordan’s oil storage capacity

AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Wednesday attended the launch ceremony of a project seeking to boost the country’s storage capacity of oil derivatives.
Sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), the project is implemented in Madouneh in east Amman.
At the ceremony, Ensour thanked the United Arab Emirates and the ADFD for sponsoring the project.
He also thanked the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army for allocating a plot of land for the project, highlighting the importance of the project, especially in light of energy challenges.
