UAE, Saudi delegations visit northern military zone

AMMAN — A United Arab Emirates military delegation headed by Commander of the National Defence College Maj. Gen. Rashad Saadi on Thursday visited the northern military zone and the Border Guards where they were received by Commander Brig. Gen. Ghazi Muqaibel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The delegation listened to a briefing by Muqaibel on the tasks and duties carried out by the personnel to protect Jordan’s borders and prevent infiltrations and smugglings. Also on Thursday, a Saudi military delegation headed by Director General of the Religious Affairs Department Royal Saudi Land Forces Maj. Gen. Mohammad Saadan visited the military zone and the Border Guards.
The delegation praised the advanced level of military preparedness and the use of modern technology in border control and protection
