AMMAN — Police on Monday arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the murder of a man in his 20s, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A security team comprising East Amman and Ruseifa police and Criminal Investigation Department personnel arrested the two suspects, who later confessed to murdering the victim and throwing his body in an area of water in the Ain Ghazal area.
The man was absent from his family’s home for around a week, Petra reported, adding that the police found the two suspects in “record time”.
The two are said to have confessed to murdering the man because of a personal argument, hitting the victim on the head and throwing him in the water before fleeing the scene.
The case will be referred to the judiciary, Petra reported.
