Two dead in separate Irbid accidents

AMMAN — A 20-year-old man on Monday died after falling from a high cliff in Kafr Asad in Irbid, 80km north of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Civil Defence Department personnel transferred the man to Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, where he died from “severe” injuries to the head.
His body was later transferred to the Forensic Medical Centre of the north province to identify the exact cause of death, Petra added. Also in Irbid, a 40-year-old man on Monday died in a car accident, Petra reported.
According to the assistant director of Princess Raya Hospital, the man arrived in a “worrying condition” and was provided with medical attention, but he died due to “the severity of a haemorrhage”.
